Procrastinator Extraordinaire
I truly have no excuse for the lack of posts to the site. In fact I have recently made a decision which has become the bane of my existance. I have once again rejoined the World of Warcraft legion. This will have been the second time I have picked up the game after freeing myself from its clutches. To give you an idea think of your free time being consumed by some gaping rift and you thinking it has only been five minutes. There are times when I think these games should be classified as drugs; why is collecting 8 cogs for some gnome so engrossing? I would like to claim that it is social aspect as I have a number of friends who still play, but I cannot. Playing with friends may be the reason I rejoined but truthfully I enjoy that wonderful little ding every time I complete a quest or reach a new level. I have been playing too much as of late and will need to get things scheduled so that it is not all consuming; while it is enjoyable it does not render any tangable benefits and thus must be done within reason. For those of you who are players my main character is Anomandris on the Feathermoon server (Gear and specs here). For those of you who do not play do yourself a favor and stay away for here be dragons.
Over the next week or so I will be adding a projects section to the blog which will just be a collection of pages documenting various projects I want to work on. The idea is if they are online then people can ask me about them, causing such guilt for a lack of progress that I actually do them. Speaking of procrastination I must depart to accomplish academic pursuits.
